10am – 4:30pm
Green Tara is the female Buddha of compassion. She is renowned as a swift rescuer and protector of living beings. Tara protects us from all internal and external dangers, she provides us with all the necessary conditions for our spiritual training, and she guides us and inspires us with her blessings as we progress along the spiritual path. This empowerment gives us the opportunity to draw close to Mother Tara so we can come under her loving care.
Following the empowerment Kelsang Rinzin with give teachings on the beautiful practice of Arya Tara.
On Sunday, we have the opportunity to go deeper into the practice of Green Tara with an optional day of retreat. And, the following Saturday, April 4, there will be a course on Transference of Consciousness at Avalokiteshvara Buddhist Center.
