This Fall 2026 meditation series explores patience as a powerful inner resource for navigating anger, conflict, and uncertainty. Through guided practice and discussion, participants will learn how cultivating patience can build resilience, foster compassion, and support more peaceful responses to life's challenges. This series is offered by Kerrin Perniciaro, Resident Teacher at Heruka Kadampa Meditation Center in partnership with Laramie County Library, and is designed for beginners but also welcomes those with previous experience.
Everyone welcome!

Resident Teacher Kerrin Perniciaro is a long-time practitioner of Modern Kadampa Buddhism. She has studied and taught Buddhism at the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon (IKRC), Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Center (in the 6-month Intensive Teacher Training Program), Los Angeles and Long Island. She is an inspiring example of a lay practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism, and teaches meditation and Buddhism very practically, with clarity, warmth and kindness.
