Help increase peace in this world through your prayers and good heart! Prayers for World Peace is a free meditation class with chanted prayers for world peace. Each class includes a guided meditation, a brief teaching on how to develop a warm and loving heart, and beautiful prayers.
Everyone is welcome!

In this busy world, our experiences of happiness are fleeting and short-lived, while inner peace eludes us completely. Our negative states of mind, such as uncontrolled desire and anger, create endless problems for ourselves and others, and prevent us from fulfilling our deepest wishes. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso begins by presenting Buddha's popular teaching on the Four Noble Truths, which offers a clear and simple solution to all our problems, guiding us to an oasis of peace within our hearts. He then focuses in particular on overcoming the problem of anger, learning how to develop and maintain patience when faced with even the most difficult circumstances.
These drop-in meditation classes help us orient our life from the mundane to the spiritual! Learn Buddha’s timeless and universal wisdom for how to live your best, most magical life. Each class consists of guided meditations, a short chanted prayer, a talk and time for questions.
Everyone is welcome. No previous experience needed.
No need to wear special clothing or attire. Our meditation room has both chairs and floor cushions to sit on.
