Still Your Mind

Mindfulness Half-day Retreat

Saturday, February 4 | 9:30am-12:30pm

When was the last time you enjoyed stillness and peace in your mind?

In our busy modern lives we live amidst an endless stream of distractions. Most people find their mind is constantly on the move, jumping from one thing to another and that their inner chatter never stops!  We often wake up feeling tense or tired and by the end of the day we feel worn out and scattered. But it doesn’t need to be like this.

On this half day retreat you will learn how to use mindfulness with the simple breathing meditation to let go of distractions and find a still and spacious state of mind, leaving you feeling rested, peaceful and happy.

Everyone is welcome.

No need for any special clothing or equipment. No previous experience is required. You can sit on a chair or on a meditation cushion.

"When the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and our mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arise from within."

— Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, from the book The New Meditation Handbook
